A program description page provides information about an internal administrative activity that delivers a service.
Program description pages:
- support a consistent approach to the presentation of program-related information
- promote task completion by prioritizing access to tasks related to the program
- complement the objectives of service initiation pages by offering more detail on supporting programs on a separate page
- limit the amount of content used to describe a program

When to use this template
- Use the program description page template to give background information or an overview about a program, and provide links to its related services
- Don’t use this template to initiate a service, use the Service initiation page layout instead
How to use this template
Use the program description page template to provide program information for a transactional service or to present program descriptions outlined in Reports on Plans and Priorities as part of an institution’s Program Alignment Architecture.
1: Program name
Provides the name of the program

Provides a link to the institution, organization or partnering/collaborative arrangement entity responsible for the content of the page
